Our Annual Ladies Day event will be Sunday May 21st. This is a great opportunity for women to come learn about purchasing firearms, using the range, concealed carry and ask any other questions about the firearms industry and shooting sports. SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES:
We are very excited to have 2 very special guest speakers this year. Amy Dillon and LouAnn Hamblin. Amy Dillon is a former Marine Corps Drill Instructor and Marksmanship Instructor. Amy served 12 years on active-duty and is now committed to pursuing her goals in the Firearms Industry. In addition to her military certifications, Amy is certified as a Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), State of Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI), and Georgia Carry Organization (GCO). She is a certified National Rifle Association (NRA) firearms instructor, as well as a Personal Safety Academy Instructor for the SABRE Civilian Safety Awareness Program. As a freelance writer, Amy contributes articles related to gun laws and gun topics to various media publications. She is involved with several organizations in efforts to positively influence legislation in support of upholding the 2nd Amendment. She resides in South Carolina.
Lou Ann Hamblin is the co-owner of LouKa Tactical Training. In business since 1999 LouKa Tactical is the largest company of its kind in the United States-female owned and operated with the largest cadre of highly skilled female instructors. Lou Ann proudly served the law enforcement profession for 22 years before retiring. Lou Ann has had many roles during her law enforcement career to include training, uniform patrol, bike patrol, undercover narcotics and prostitution operations, and a temporary assignment with a DEA Task Force. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Performance Technology and Instructional Design from the University of Michigan. For the last twenty years Lou Ann has specialized in training female officers having trained over 3,300 in pistol alone and is a certified firearms and defensive tactics instructor in a variety of disciplines. She instructs locally and nationally in the areas of instructor development and training for specialty units to include; survival training for SROs and female officers and police cycling train the trainer level classes. Lou Ann also serves on the Board of Directors for IALEFI and taught at many of their train the trainer “Master Firearms Instructor” classes and national conferences. She is also a Team One Network adjunct instructor and Master Pistol Instructor through H and K and is a certified armorer for a number of weapon systems. Lou Ann conceptualized the nationally recognized Building Warrior Women training event for women in public safety that has been publicized as the finest survival skills training in the United States. This event addresses critical leadership and mentoring for women in public safety followed by a series of “hard to kill skill set development.”
