Trauma Care Basics
Classroom & practical skill application to gain a working knowledge of interventions that may be necessary to deal with traumatic injury.
This class is designed to refresh your memory on the most important parts of concealed carry in an interesting and engaging way. We want to ensure you understand the responsibility that comes with carrying a firearm, and all the legal ramifications too. Our informative, knowledgeable, and experienced instructors can answer your questions and help you feel more confident in your ability to legally carry a firearm
Guidance on appropriate and lawful interaction with police while transporting or carrying a concealed firearm.
A review of the legal use of force.
Updates to the current IL statutes.
A refresher on prohibited areas.
A review of applicable state and federal laws relating to carrying a firearm.
Your range fee and required B-27 target are included in the cost.
You must show up on time. The state requires 3 complete hours of training.
You must be over 21.
You must have a valid FOID and IL Concealed Carry License.
Bring pen and paper.
Eye and ear protection
30 rounds of ammunition (which you can purchase in-store)
A firearm unloaded and in a case. We have plenty of rental guns available if you do not own something suitable.
At the end of class, after you pass your qualification shoot, you will be given a certificate of training that will need to be uploaded into your concealed carry renewal license application on the ISPFSB website.

TO PASS YOU MUST SHOOT WITH AT LEAST 70% ACCURACY.
This means at least 21 of your 30 rounds must fall within the 16" x 22" outer (7) ring of the standard B-27 target. If you fail you must complete a basic pistol training level 2 or private instruction class before you will be allowed to re-shoot the qualification.
