
Defensive Pistol Training: Holster Skills is designed for those that want to move beyond the basics and take the next step in their pistol training. This class will work with performance based training focusing on individual skill improvement and critical thinking.
Both outside and inside the waistband holsters are welcome.
We want everyone that carries a firearm, or are planning to in the future, to be as efficient and effective as possible. All attendees of this class must be able to safely operate their handgun in both a range and classroom setting. Students must be familiar with their holster and firearm before they come to this class. If you are interested in what this class has to offer, but are unsure you are quite ready for drawing from your holster on a live fire range our Drawing from Concealed Carry: Tips & Tricks Seminar is the perfect jumping off point.
Topics covered in this class include:
- Engaging multiple targets
- Clearing common malfunctions
- Cognitive thinking drills
- Single-handed shooting
- Moving offline of the attack
Items you will need:
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Reliable semi-automatic pistol or revolver
- Holster IWB or OWB: Sturdy material that will secure your pistol (read: no nylon or flimsy holsters)
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- At least 3 magazines or speed loaders with a way to carry them on your person
Cost is $125 for this 3 hour class
