Trauma Care Basics
Classroom & practical skill application to gain a working knowledge of interventions that may be necessary to deal with traumatic injury.
You Are Required to Have Taken Our 5 Hr Basic Pistol Level 1 and 3 Hr Basic Pistol Level 2 Classes, or an 8 hr NRA Basic Pistol Safety class.
OR
If You Are Current or Former U.S. Military Provide Us a DD214 or Active Duty Military ID.
Physiological and psychological aspects to high stress situations.
All applicable state & federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of firearms.
Your range fee, required B-27 target, and a copy of USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals are included in the cost.
You must bring with you your 5 hr & 3 hr Maxon Basic Pistol Certificates, 8 hr NRA Basic Pistol Certificate, military ID, or DD214 paperwork to receive your CCL Training Certificate.
You must show up on time. The state requires 8 complete hours of training. Failure to arrive by the class's start time will result in your inability to attend the class.
You must be over 21.
You must have a valid FOID, State ID, or Driver's License.
Bring pen and paper.

30 rounds of ammunition (which you can purchase in-store)
A firearm unloaded and in a case. We have plenty of rental guns available if you do not own something suitable.
At the end of class, after you pass your qualification shoot, you will be given a certificate of training that will need to be uploaded into your concealed carry license application on the ISPFSB website.
TO PASS YOU MUST SHOOT WITH AT LEAST 70% ACCURACY.
This means at least 21 of your 30 rounds must fall within the 16" x 22" outer (7) ring of the standard B-27 target. If you fail you must complete a basic pistol training level 2 or private instruction class before you will be allowed to re-shoot the qualification.
